I think that when money is tight, the governments priorities should be evenly spaced between every issue, not just one. I think that because not one issue is more important than another.

The government should prioritize in feeding the nation. People may be starving and deprived of the money they need to feed themselves. Second priorities should be in funding the nation’s education so that when the children grow up, they don’t make the same mistakes that the adults did.

When money is tight the government priorities should be in the school system. They should be there because the school system has the kids of our future. The kids in the school system will grow up to be in the government and we need the future of the government. Without an education the kids will have no future. The school system should be the top priority of the government.

They should work attempting to keep minimum wages as fair as possible, not high enough to hurt businesses, but not low enough to hurt the people gaining minimum wage, and attempt to keep businesses based in the USA. They also should attempt to continue funding schools, but cut back spending in other ways as much as possible.

When money is tight government priorities should be on finding ways to feed starving people and find homes for homeless people. They should use government powers and money to help these people who need it more than they do. When there isn’t much money to go around there should still be enough for the government to give some to people in need.

I think the money should go to the people instead of the economy. It should go to our country’s people, not other countries. It should go to the schools so that people can get smarter and be ready to deal with the economy problems. If money doesn’t go to the schools then people won’t know how to deal with the economy problems in the next generation.

They should put their priorities on making sure people have enough food to live. This should make about 45% of their funds. Another 30% should be in making sure people can get more jobs to bring up their wealth, and, in turn, their taxes, giving more money to the government. This brings the total to around 70%. 20% should be in general upkeep of the country, and only 10% or less should be in war, if at all (much preferable, less death and losing money).

it should be in the needs of the people. the money needs to be separated equally, just because the country is in a depression does not mean that schools should close because it would only hurt the children more in the future, having no education. the government still needs to give the people food but there are other priorities. if there was a depression today I would have to work and all but one day the economy is going to get better and if I don’t have a good education I would have been better off working at a Mac Donalds.

The money should be helping the hungry in our country. I think that sometimes we worry about other country’s problems too much and forget to help the poor in our own country. We should still help other countries but still remember to help the poor and needy back home.

When money is tight, I think the government’s priorities should be focused more towards the consumers and buyers rather than the big businesses. By helping the consumers and buyers financially, the big businesses will profit.

They should be for international help causes because most of the countries are in way worse shape. If we help them then they will be our allies and will owe us once they get their feet on the ground.

The government’s priorities should be in helping all of the citizens when they are in a pinch, to make sure that if war breaks out you have adequate solders that can fight.

The money should be distributed in equally. It should be with hunger, schools, and health care. It should be with hunger because hunger is a big issue when it comes to the big cities such as New York, Chicago, and Detroit. People are poor and can’t afford money for meals. It should also be with schools because children need education they are going to be the leaders of our nation in a few years and we don”t want uneducated people leading us. Health care is a big problem we don’t want another epidemic on our hands. So we should have clinics for those who can’t afford it.

Government priorities should be with schools, hunger relief, hospitals, or other government buildings/organizations. Money should be split between important causes, and some should be saved for future use. When money is tight, the government shouldn’t give it all to one organization because many need it. I think if the organization helps people in some way, the government should pay attention to it and fund it when needed.

Even when money is tight, the people should still be the first priority. The U.S.A. was made by the people, and for the people, so they should have the first priority. The government should focus on education, food for the hungry, and housing for the homeless. Also, money should be dedicated to the repayment of debts. If there is no money for that, then raise taxes for the wealthy. Also, lower wages of government officials. Many work only a few days a week, and make hundreds of thousands of dollars. This is what the government should do when money is tight.

The government priorities should go to schools. The schools need it more than any other place. Even, through a depression schools are most likely still running. They educate us to inspire us to solve problems to fix the government budget. The schools shelter future America. If they don’t have what they need, the countries adults and children are ruined. The whole economy would need to be reconstructed.

When money is tight government priorities should be with helping the people, and all of their needs. Like food, clothing, shelter, education, transportation, and jobs. It shouldn’t be focused on one need like food. If they just used money for food, then there would be no money for education, and then people wouldn’t be able to help themselves, because they wouldn’t know how. Also, it should be used for the needs of the people like transportation because if the people don’t have a way to get to their job, they’ll lose their job, and then they’ll have no way to survive.

Money should be used to benefit the people. The money should be used to stop recession or depression. Don’t increase taxes! The economy may permanently fail. Don’t over spend.

I believe that the nation should spend more money on its own people and less on the world, no matter how important it is. Ask yourself, would you rather save your friends and family, or someone out there that you don’t know? It may sound harsh but that’s life.
