When goverment money is tight, money should be saved. But if money is needed than it should be spent on the people. The people make or break the economy of the country. If the people don’t have much money, then nothing will be bought, causing the economy to decrease, making the United States as a country poor.
Government priorities should be with everyone who needs money, including schools, the elderly, and espeecially the poor. Schools hold the future of the world-kids-so if we want the world to be good, we should help them. The elderly cannot do much for themselves, so we need to help them as much as possible. Lastly, the poor do not have enough to do anything, so we need to help them.
I think that government priorities should go to everyone who is “classified” as needy. I am not saying that the government should just give away money to everybody. I think that they should have some kind of classification of needy people, that way people who are in need and are struggling can be helped.
If the country is in depression and everyone is struggling to make a living then the government’s priorities need to be with the people. During the Great Depression the government needed to give money to the people in hope of getting out of the depression. Instead the president gave money to industries in hope that they would produce more goods. I think that when the people are suffering from lack of money the only solution is to give money to the peolpe.
The government should focus on the induviduals who are in poverty as opposed to decreasing debt. Sure, hat could help the GOVERNMENT, but are they really going to give money out? NO! Decreasing the debt won’t help the people, and that is what America is supposed to be about. Having constructive and secure jobs for workers should be a major priority. Also, giving a general sum of money for jobless families, ecspecially with kids. Nothing large, of course, but enough to buy food and pay a small rent. THe government fails when the the people are falling.
When money is tight, the government’s priorities for money should be given to many different puposes; not just one pupose. For example, the money should be given to education, food (hunger relief), and businesses. More money should be given to the purposes that need more money, but all purposes should still recieve some of the government’s money.
When money was tight in the 1930’s, the government’s priorities should have been on education for children. Since the children are the future generation, they should have a high education so that a depression will not happen in the future. They should knew how to react to a situation and how to handle it accordingly. If their priorities had been on educating the children, they would make less mistakes have have a better world. The US was not giving funds to education, and the future generation would have a hard time dealing with events in the future. Children’s education should have been a high priority during the 1930’s when money was scarce.
Government priorities should be with the starving people in poverty. According to the picture above, Uncle Sam is turning away people that need money for a school, but he is turning them away because he needs to give the money for hunger relief. I think hunger relief is so much more important then giving money for an education because it is a life or death situation for some people. When money is tight in the government, I think the government should stand by the starving people and give them support even if it means turning down people in need of funds for education.
I think that the government’s priorities should be to give people jobs when money is tight, so that people would have shelter, money, and food for their families. If they gave people jobs, then they would have money to buy things. If they had money to buy things, then it would help businesses expand which would create the demand for more jobs. As people would get income from their jobs, they could afford to buy neccessities for their families. Based on this chain reaction, the U.S. economy would boom again and America would get out of it depression.
Government priorities should be to keep what they have when money is tight. They should try to hold on to what they have and make more. Doing this would last for a while.
There should be no priorities. Things like hunger relief, funding schools, and helping the poor should all be given equal amounts of money. It wouldn’t be fair if one cause gets millions of dollars but another gets nothing! Now, somethings may be more inmportant than others, and they might get more money than others, but that is totally different. When money is tight, everybody should be given equal.
The governments priorities should be with the people who really need the money. If the governments are giving away money to people that argue with everything the government does, I dont think those people deserve to get the money! The priorities of the government should be keeping their money for people that reallt need it.
Government priorties should be with the people who are in need when money is tight. If they’re with the people, then the people will benefit, but if they’re not, no one will actually benefit. When the government gives money to people that do not need it, escpecially when money is tight, it loses opportuniteis for the people that do need money to do something useful. This is why government priorities should be with the people when money is tight.
I think tht government priorities should be for the people when money is tight. Because people might be starving and jobless. The gov should provide money for the people so that they can live. The gov shouldnt give the money to buisnesses.

Saving money for the hungry is fine but not saving money fro education is heartless. Children deserve to get a education just as people deserve food.
