Book Club
Book clubs are open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. Students are allowed to bring their lunches to the library for the meetings. Sign-up for the book clubs is from now until September 30th. We will begin meeting in October.
What do we do? We all read the same book selected by the librarian, read about 50 pages per week, and meet with our peers during lunch to talk “books.” No quizzes, tests, or homework - just wallowing in the joy of reading and book discussions.
If you are interested, the sign-up forms are in the library. Hurry! Limited spaces available.

What book clubs are there at Moody Middle School
Thank you for your question! We have book clubs for each grade level. We meet on Burgundy days, during lunch, and in the library. We all read the same book and discuss it with the other members. If you are interested, please stop by the library and talk to me.

Book Club ROCKS!!! I recommend it to anyone who enjoys reading and hanging out with friends at the same time. Meeting are a blast and everyone participates. The best part is that you get to meet new people, and then become best friends!! Book club is great for everyone.
Thank you for your positive feedback! Mr. Mewborn and I hope that our members are making new friends, reading books they may never have picked, and always anxious for the next book. We love to talk about books and especially enjoy having uninterrupted time with our members.
